And you could see he is a talker and he likes to tell people what he knows. And so he was really helpful to the police early on in their investigation and allowed them then to use what he was telling them.

And Aliza Kaplan, who is Ellie's defense attorney now, believes it was excessive, that they allowed this interrogation to go on for 10 hours.
