And I think this is a good example of that.
These moments that I think are genuinely moving and important and are standouts in terms of what sets apart Dresden from a lot of paranormal fantasy is this sort of depth and these moments of humanity
a lot of writers don't bother with this stuff.
They're just trying to write a real fun action story, you know?
And this is what I think makes it special and something that feels so much more real on a lot of levels.
And yeah, if, if folks are not into that, I feel like that's probably because they just don't really understand how important this sort of thing is in life in general, which is a shame because,
