It's a town that's incredibly diverse, yet has a terrible history of segregation.
It's like almost all of the things that make America a complicated place, you can find right here in Kansas City, more so probably than the cities on the coast, because they don't have the influences of all the other directions quite as much.
You might find more diversity in New York City on a global scale, but from a diversity of American thought,
This is like this is the middle of it all.
And it's and I actually think that's something I hope people see, too, because I think a lot of people probably I know a lot of people have images of what they think America is right now.
And whether you agree with that image or not, it's a lot more complicated than that.
And and Jason Sudeikis had a great line when I asked him about it.
He said, you know, Americans haven't exactly been known for their humility.
That's not our thing on a global scale.
But when you come to Kansas City, because he's brought all of his international friends here to film Ted Lasso, they're going, wait, there's all these humble, authentic, nice people here.
That's not their image of America.
And that's actually a pretty awesome thing.
We have a chance to show people what we're really all about.
