I'm not enough of an expert on the economic realities of it.
I mean, I know there's there's something.
that have said that the way they did the lottery, like the three-tiered lottery system, I got my tickets on the third try, and it was a way of creating a false demand.
You only release a certain number of tickets in the first lottery, and then a few people get them, and that makes everybody want the next, and it makes you feel like these tickets are gonna be incredibly hard to get.
And this is the first World Cup where they really had no government regulations on what they can do with the ticket prices.
free market America you know and so I think that some of it was to try to manipulate the demand for the tickets um I'm not sure about the hotel situation why they did that I you know I don't know if that's just that hey we might need all these hotels and we I think a lot of what what FIFA does is well we can you know we're FIFA and we you know they they run the most popular entity of of any kind in the world and so they can kind of make their demands of how they want um
In terms of what it means for Kansas City, I don't know what to expect.
It does sound like it's not going to be at the level of the sum of the numbers that we were given, right?
