And if you go around screwing people over...
Everybody in your peer group knows about it and will come after you.
And so how many businesses get moved to Kansas City or start in Kansas City or partnerships happen because of these business leaders from all over the world coming here and getting to know the business leaders from here?
I don't know the answer to that part.
But but in terms of you want to know what kind of lasting legacy.
significant sporting moments and sporting ideas could have i mean this is lamar hunt's vision for kansas city this is why he sold cliff illig and neil patterson on buying the wizards at the time that he did he said if you want to be a world-class city you have to have world-class sports in kansas city it's the most important part it's what puts kansas city on the map you got to keep the global game in kansas city because if you don't buy the team it's going to move
But here's the cool part about it.
You want to talk about like butterfly effects and how a city imagine how different the landscape of the city would be.
Lamar Hunt in 1963 didn't know anything about Kansas City relatively.
He'd been maybe a couple of times.
He didn't know anything about the game of soccer whatsoever.
And he had just fallen in love with the lady named Norma Noble.
He had gone through a divorce.
And in 1963, all three of those things would come together to change the landscape of this city and the American sports in ways that none of us would have guessed.
He moved the Kansas City Chiefs here.
because of Mayor Bartle's vision.
He got on a plane and went to Ireland to visit Norman Noble.
He wanted to see if she really was the one.
And all he liked to do was go to random sporting events.
