And I just always like saying no thanks before it gets to,
That's a good idea.
Yeah.
And anyway, so I guess what I'm saying is I feel like I'm just getting started.
And if I want to build the scale of company that I need to or that I want to do, then I need to give compounding time to really kick in.
And so we're eight years in and like selling and being done now is just way too early.
And so it's really like, if I want to build a MailChimp level company or a Stripe level company or something like that, then it's like, great, show up for another decade.
And then we can start to talk about the level of commitment that you have and where the results come from.
I don't even know.
Maybe build a tiny house community.
And that's the thing of like, it's not this all or nothing.
I think that's a really good question to ask when those acquisition offers come in or something.
I'm like, okay, but what would I do?
And I'd go right back to building software because I love it.
And one thing that I love now is the leverage that we have.
So for example...
This year we launched ConvertKit Commerce, which is our digital product sales platform.
And that's something that's just different enough from ConvertKit that it could be its own startup entirely.
And so if I were to start over and do that, that initial traction is really hard to get.
Obviously, having done a successful company, the next one is easier, the relationships that you already have, the brand reputation and everything.
