Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has begun testifying in the House Oversight Committee's Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
It's a closed-door deposition at her home in Chappaqua, New York, but Clinton has posted her opening statement on X. She says she had no idea about Epstein's criminal activities and can't recall ever encountering him.
She says the committee's made little effort to call the people who appear most prominently in the Epstein files.
