We're going to move away from all this horror and talk about a famous alien encounter in England that happened in Rendlesham Forest, which is it's considered like England's Roswell.

But as you'll see, if you'll check out the podcast, it's much more interesting and compelling than Roswell ever was.

And I got to say, that was a really top-notch introduction.

Well, I mean, if we are to believe what people claim, maybe you don't want to do this.

Maybe this is a bit dicey.

And the best way to understand it is to look at a story that's happened recently.

Because last year in July, there was a paranormal investigator named Dan Rivera, and he died suddenly.

Obviously sad for his friends and family.

He was only 54.

He had four kids.

By all counts, he was a sweet guy.

But it was big news for people in the haunted doll community, which, as we'll see, is a thing.

And the reason is when Rivera died, he was on tour with the original Annabelle doll.

And if that name sounds familiar, it's because that doll is the inspiration for a character in the Conjuring horror movie franchise, which I think is one of the biggest horror movie franchises ever.

Well, I mean, dolls are kind of perfect for this kind of thing because we've you and I have talked about the uncanny valley before.

And dolls are right in the center of the uncanny valley.

They're almost human looking, but not quite human looking.

And as far as like haunted objects go, you you can you could not do better than a doll.

Because a lot of them are old and weird, and old and weird equals haunted.
