Those are the things that always get me going, going off doing speeches for the church.
And I did one this week.
I'm doing one again this weekend.
It's important to me.
It's important to tell people that
I started with nothing from this little small town in Massachusetts.
And I came out here knowing no one with a bucket of dreams.
And it took a while.
And after 10 years, it started to go.
After 20 years, it really started to crank.
Now 30 years into it, it's really going very, very well.
But it was hard work and perseverance and determination and not taking no for an answer.
Or if you get a no, you have to think, OK, instead of getting emotional about it, well, why did they say no to me on this project?
What can I do better?
How can I readjust?
How can I recalibrate what I'm doing?
How can I how can my release point go from here to up here or whatever the case is?
have to do that work and you can't take it personal and the less you take it personal the more you keep working towards your goals knowing for me that god has my back that everything i do i try to you know make god happy in all my work it just takes kind of the pressure off a little bit and it just makes things a lot easier because i'm not trying to impress anybody the only person i'm trying to impress is him that's it and for me if i'm doing the right things i'm making my wife happy my kids happy
It's working thus far, and I'm so stupid blessed to be where I am right now on The Adam Carolla Show talking about my life.
It's kind of funny.
