It may well be that it's not illegal.

So if you look back to when he was committing these crimes, you know, 2016 or whatever, they hadn't particularly been using that anti-gangland legislation.

I've, you know, I've, you know, put a tracking device in the car, which may be some sort of breach of data protection or something like this.

At the very worst, you know, I'm going to get in a little bit of a slap on the wrist.

That could be shown that this was in order to facilitate an organised crime gang.

That's where his criminal offence comes in.

At the time it's been committed, it's certainly against the law.

It has been since 2008, I think, or 2009, wherever the laws have been brought in.

But it really hasn't been used on a regular basis in an Irish court.

And he is really undone by all of this.

But it is and it isn't because a lot of these criminals, they have a certain degree of legal knowledge.
