Nikita Hand was awarded 250,000 euro in damages against him.
And basically this was bombshell new evidence.
It hadn't been brought up in the original trial.
And then on the day that the appeal was due to be heard, Conor McGregor's defence team dropped this case.
And then in the aftermath, then Stephen Cummins and Samantha Riley were arrested in relation to alleged perjury offences.
They were released without charge.
And then Nikita Hand lodged a civil suit, basically suing them for damages.
No.
Yeah.
Yeah, and so it was basically, so when people say, so like I was actually, because I was doing the headline for that story on Monday and it was a difficult one because you want to try and like a default judgment is a kind of a legal term.
You want to try and get it across, but it was also, it wasn't that it was,
a case heard and they deemed, you know, Nikita Hahn has won this.
It was because, as you said, they didn't turn up.
They didn't do anything to even, I don't think they even responded to her defence team.
So that was entered in for that reason.
And the judge basically in that circumstance, it's put then for an assessment of damages.
So they're going to assess how much Nikita Hahn should get.
But in the meantime, they do have...
the opportunity to try and file a response or to do something.
And if they don't, obviously then the assessment damages will be heard the next time and she'll be awarded.
