I'm doing okay.

How is the voice?

Well, it's been a while since Bloom ended.

It's been a week, but I'm still feeling the effects.

I had five solid days on the Birdwatch Ireland stand of talking and talking and talking and talking and then talking some more at quite high volume.

So it does have an impact on the vocal cords.

It's certainly much better than it was a couple of days ago.

When I finished on the bank holiday Monday, I just literally couldn't speak.

And I also had my facial muscles had kind of frozen into a permanent kind of smile just from grinning all the time.

No, literally my back teeth wouldn't meet up.

I couldn't chew properly for a couple of days.

I mean, do you get many new members?

We get a huge number of new members.

So thank you to everyone who joined us.

Thank you to everybody who gave us donations for pin badges and stickers and posters.

And thank you very much to the organisers of Board B at Bloom for having us there.

It's really good to see every year there's a greater emphasis on sustainability and on biodiversity conservation.

And would you believe I've been at every single day of Bloom since it started in 2007.

Really?
