So they want to bring Mr. Moore to be brought in to be asked about his statement.
He doesn't want to come and it's said in court why he doesn't want to come.
He's terrified.
He's in fear.
He refuses to come.
He's asked to come.
He doesn't appear.
There's a bench warrant over a couple of hearings.
He's just not, he's just too afraid.
The court is, you know, that could put you in contempt of court and you could go to prison.
Obviously, nobody in that court system, the guards, the judges,
you know, the prosecution, none of them want to pick on a man who's been through what we've described there.
I mean, absolutely horrific.
So he is basically not going to appear.
And at this point, the trial goes on anyway.
If you've made a statement, it can be admitted to the court immediately.
whether you're there to be cross-examined on it or not.
However, the court will also say, you know, well, there's no jury in this case, but if there was a jury, a jury be told, well, you can't give the same weight to that statement if the person isn't willing to come to court to be cross-examined.
So at that point, the trial begins for a couple of days in December.
