Hiya, Ciarán.
So at the end of April, similar to the ladies who've spoken, we were left with no water for nine days and it was right through the Maybank holiday weekend.
And again, what really frustrated all of us in the area was just the lack of engagement and communication from Irish Water.
At one stage, I was ringing them three times a day.
Their customer care team, although very pleasant, did not have the tools to deal with the situation and did not have the answers.
I was getting someone different every single time and they had no updates.
They didn't even know or could track my previous calls.
They couldn't give me any information.
And at one stage they told me there was somebody out working on it and we could see there wasn't.
Another time they told me, did I know where the leak or the birth pipe was?
Like it was my job or our job to find out where the birth pipe was.
It was a disgrace.
And like the other lady said, I put in a complaint.
They ran me after the issue was solved after nine days.
And asked me what to solve.
I said yes.
And they said they were going to close my complaint.
I said I didn't want my complaint closed.
I wanted to further it through.
And I got nowhere with it.
