It was really only until I contacted our local TDs that they kicked into gear and they did something.
But that was nine days with no meaningful engagement, not able to flush a toilet, put on a wash, shower.
It was horrible.
Well, we were getting big tanks of water, I suppose, from up the road where there was water and trying to flush them that way.
And that's all we could do.
But there was only two people in my house.
I would consider myself lucky.
There were neighbours, that's three or four kids in the houses.
It was awful.
We're in County Meath, North County Meath as well.
Our TVs are brilliant.
But if you think about it, we've got ministers in our area representing us.
And although they emailed and they did great work and it got sorted in the end, why can't this be brought further?
It's clearly not a local problem.
It's a national problem.
And it has to be raised.
It's about anything, I suppose, that you have to have it in moderation.
And I suppose the big challenge that young people have with social media nowadays is that it's designed in a way that's really addictive for young people.
They need to understand how much power they have to influence how a young person experiences the online world.
