They were trying to coach and mentor and develop.
It was a very reassuring coaching tone.
Yes.
It was calm.
It was steady.
They would use a more aggressive tone if needed.
And the message came across.
It was loud and clear.
Absolutely.
Like, hey, this is serious.
But knowing when to apply the right tone to certain situations and circumstances, but being consistent when you use that tone.
Absolutely.
I'm even thinking back to...
just being a leader in my household, in my family, with my kids, knowing when to apply the right tone.
So as my kids are developing, because they're young right now, as they're developing and learning, they know what the tone means.
But if I'm inconsistent with my tone,
my kids will not respond to a fluctuation in that tone because I'm inconsistent.
I feel like I should get my hand tattooed energy and tone.
That's right.
