And I watched him transform into this man.

And that's actually what influenced me to want to join the military.

I watched him go from this boy to this man.

And, you know, coming home on R&R and I was like, I want that in my life.

Yeah.

I want to, I want to grow and be challenged and change like that.

I'm curious, you know,

Being in college, ROTC, how did your perception of what a leader was before commissioning change based off of your early experience being in combat with a platoon?

What did you think leadership was?

And then what did you actually learn leadership was?

Yeah, that's good.

You got to own the plan.

You have to own the outcome, whether a success or failure.

Yeah.

But there's nothing that says you can't collaborate on the strategy and how you get there.

I actually, as you were sharing that, I used to do the same thing as a platoon leader.

And then I started doing the same thing when it was scaling and building BPN.

I thought I had to go off into the corner and build out the whole plan and then present this beautiful plan and strategy.
