And then everyone goes and executes.
And then what I started finding is I was stepping on people's toes trying to do their job for them when they have a different perspective.
They have different ideas to bring to the table.
And it's so much more effective if we collaborate on the plan and the strategy.
But at the end of the day, I have to own whether it succeeds or fails.

I'm just thinking through some stuff right now and how I can compare my time in the military to building a business.

And I've said this before, but what was so unique about the military, I'm sure you can add some coloring in context onto this,
You're learning to lead people.
Yes.
And those people, those individuals, are not influenced by money, salary, power, bonuses.
I mean, they know whether they work 20 hours a week or 100 hours a week, they're getting pretty much the same pay.
That's right.
And when you compare that to the workplace in America or the world, it is not that way.
That's right.
It's, okay, I'm working overtime.
How much more am I making?
