And cool thing.

I got the very first gun I ever built.

As well as I'd completely forgotten about.

Not because I distinctly remember building it.

But it is.

It was a kit rifle of an old black powder, you know, like just the old black powder rifle kits that sold everywhere back in the 90s.

Yeah, that's cool.

Well, a 16-year-old Dooley did not know where to find percussion caps.

So I don't think I've ever fired it.

Oh shit.

So it was what I was like, I bought it, put it together.

It was really excited, you know, and then it was like, all right, sweet.

You know, I have this thing.

And then the entrance to my mom's house had like big, you know, cedar shakes and like all this stuff.

So it was kind of old West and old timey.

So it got hung up like above the door as decoration where it lived for 25 years.

like oh yeah here's your rifle back and i'm like what are you talking about i have oh yeah that shit that is mine but now i'm like it's never been fired i need to remedy that yeah well when you first told me you couldn't find any percussion caps back in the day i expected that story to end a lot differently no i was like oh yeah so we took it out in the backyard and held a lighter to the touch hole
