So the reason that the .44 would make more sense is it's probably made for way less oomph.

Although the pressure in a .44 Magnum is higher than the pressure in a .45-70, but I'm sure there's some reason that... You look at this, and this is actually a reproduction of a Colt from the 1890s.

Um, I don't know why the 44 mag will be so much cheaper.

Maybe it's smaller overall.

Maybe there's just like, I have no idea.

Like there's less pressure in a 45 70, but I don't know if there's like, uh, I don't know.
