Remember three years ago, the $20 Big Mac?
McDonald's was getting a lot of hate during hot inflation summer.
Exactly, Jack.
But then McDonald's did a value menu pivot.
They spent the next three years apologizing, cutting prices, and getting some high visibility promotions out there.
And it worked.
McDonald's stock rose in 2023, 24, 25.
It was at an all-time high until last week.
You see, as burrito bowl prices were popping, McDonald's nugs, they were a-dropping, baby.
So for McDonald's management, they were probably thinking mission accomplished.
