Well, we had a little chat this morning and we thought that we'd bring a few stories together that are maybe not as serious as some of the stuff that has been on the last... Between...
people being attacked, firebombed, you know, arson attacks in their homes.
the murder suicide last week as well it's been horrendous stuff you know so we thought what we'll do is we'll park those for the moment and we'll lighten the mood a little bit with a couple of stories that caught our eye the first being in regards to poor cyclists and of course I am a cyclist so I'm going to defend us cyclists there so go tell us what happened
Because he's a driver clearly.
So it's basically... Some cyclist has broken a light beside him or something.
There's a huge amount of anger towards cyclists in Dublin, in particular because of the building of these bike lanes.
I don't know where you live, if you live in places where these bike lanes are being built.
certainly in the Dun Laoghaire right down area, there's a huge amount of them that are kind of like taking up the road, you know, and there's designated lanes quite a lot of the way.
And sometimes there is these very annoying bollards up the length of streets and people can't park anymore because the cycle lanes and all the rest of it.
As a cyclist, I think it's fantastic.
But then everybody just hates you.
