Well, I think what we actually agree and has been New Zealand First's position and absolutely National's position is that we want a strong, stable government.
And absolutely, we're going to keep having political debates right up to election day because we want New Zealand First supporters to vote for us.
New Zealand First wants National voters to vote for them.
There'll be some debate on the side.
But all of us believe that the national interest of strong, stable government, unified positions on foreign affairs,
ensuring we manage the economy well, is far more important than any political skirmishes that we have from time to time.
And normally, that is put first.
In this instance, it could appear that that's not what's gone on.
But look, I take Mr Peters at his word.
He said he's made a mistake.
Well, I don't think it's helpful, some of these statements, and that is what it is.
Equally, you know, I have been critical of New Zealand First in recent days, and he'd say that that's probably a pain.
So all of that goes on.
