Most people don't actually choose their life.
They slowly drift into it and then retroactively justify it.
We like to think we're making intentional decisions, careers, relationships, where we live, who we become.
But a lot of the time, it's actually just time inconvenience, fear and small compromises that accumulate over time.
And then once we're far enough in, we start telling a story about why it was meant to be or the right choice.
That is interesting.
So I do think... I really envy people, not envy, sorry, that's the wrong word, admire people that are bold enough to do that.
Yeah.
You're like, most people don't actually choose their life.
You're like, exactly.
Lucy chose mine, actually.
She made me do this thing.
I wanted to start Jagger and Stone too.
Lucy made me start posting in weird outfits at the festivals.
No, we wouldn't.
We were already posting anyway, doll.
No, I know what you mean.
It's like I always used to say, and I think I've told you this before many a time, but like when I was a little kid, I was always like had this like kind of fantasy in my mind that I was like, if I ever like...
I had a fight with my friend or boyfriend or something.
I would just, like, leave and, like, go and change my name and start a new life.
