I flew to Melbourne the other night.
She picked me up from the airport.
Love.
Went to her house, hung out with her housemates.
There's like three girls that we live together.
We just drank wine, ate pizza and yapped.
And I was like, you do have to just be someone that people want to be around to make friendships.
Like you can't just like be this person that's like, well, why doesn't anyone like me and expect to make friends?
I think if I was really honest to like compare our situations, I think because I've been single for ages, I've had to expand my friendship group.
Because, you know, like if I just...
hung around on the Gold Coast waiting to hang out with my friends who all have partners, I would not.
Oh, 100%.
It wouldn't fill my social battery enough.
And just like people in like more similar situations.
That being said, though, I think you make friends really easily.
I just don't think you've got as much interest in making new friends because you're pretty content with where you're at.
I love meeting new people.
But like, yeah, I do think, I do always feel really saddened for these people that write in about not being able to make friends easily.
And I wish that there was like some kind of skill set involved with it.
But I just think you need to be, you do need to put in effort.
