I really appreciate the afterword of the book it's a really interesting thing to read somebody reflecting on critiques of their own work and not necessarily responding to those critiques by saying you can all go fuck yourself like that as someone who has had his work critiqued I can tell you the impulse is to tell somebody to go fuck themselves like that's the impulse
