I think that the structure of a story should reflect the content of a story.
Some of it is how long you want to live with it.
And the other, you know, TV, we're interacting with the culture mostly in real time.
You know, you might be 18 months, a year away, like from writing to production, airing, whatever.
A book, you know, you might live with for five years.
A film you might live with for seven years before it hits the screen.
Is there enough there for me to live with for that length of time?
