Because especially as I came to know

There was a point where one of my siblings got suspended from school for smoking.

And I remember my dad coming back and this and this thing, I love my dad.

He did so much for us.

But the reality was that we were terrified of him.

And I remember him coming home and finding out about this.

And he did the thing where it wasn't an immediate eruption.

It was kind of held until we got back to Nigeria, which was, you know, his domain.

And we're basically told in no uncertain times that if this was to ever happen again, we'd be removed from school in the UK.

We'd never see our friends again.

And we would be educated in Nigeria under his rules, under his roof.

So the life that we knew would be over.

Completely over.

Yeah.

At 10.

That's when I discovered that.

Oh my God.

So when you know that that's what's at stake, but you find yourself in a world like this, no one is allowed to find out.
