we should be writing about the actual things that we could be doing to help improve people's lives.
The executives are saying it themselves.
Like the, that, that open AI society plan was like, we need UBI because everyone's going to be outmoded.

That's like PR.
Yeah, but the PR is... It's some sort of reverse psychology PR that these companies do, and we shouldn't buy into it as journalists.
That matters.
And let me tell you, most people don't get their news from journalists.
They get it from influencers who just, you know, repeat these points that boost whatever the company's messaging is, you know, that push the most hyperbolic kind of terrifying narratives.
That doesn't mean we have to be in line with the influencers.
We can be a voice of reason, too.
I think we are a voice of reason on this podcast, certainly.
But I think it's still... We in the collective we sense.
I'm not calling you out specifically.
