Submarine Command, we are one of the six geographic combative commanders for the Department of Defense.
So in that role, we're responsible for overseeing the contingency planning operations, as well as the security cooperation in the Central America,
South America and the Caribbean in our neighborhood, we like to say, and we refer to it as our neighborhood because of the physical proximity, the shared values and culture, and also the shared economic and security concerns.
