Kyle, you and I had a chat last week about the showification of everything.

We talked before the break briefly about how Shreem had a podcast.

There's a big, very strange thing this week with a Founders Fund-sponsored YouTube show of tech people, including Sam Altman, playing Mafia that I want to talk about.

But you wrote about this in your column for The New Yorker this week, not in reference to the

to the Mafia YouTube show, but kind of to the showification of everything.

What was your kind of, what drove you towards this piece?

Kareem, you quoted Kareem in the piece talking about how, and this was from a couple of years ago, how you didn't even need a show anymore because the clips are the show.

So it's kind of ironic that now he's making a show again.

But the relationship between clips and show and hype marketing seems to have been internalized by the VC industry more than anybody else in the world, right?

Natasha, how do you see the aesthetics of the Silicon Valley show machine?

I mean, that game of Mafia was just so flat and it kind of felt like somebody who had kind of extrapolated all of the principles of what should make a capital S show and then tried to do it.

And it was just like, I don't know, it was almost devastating how depressing and flat it was.
