being a little bit nervous about what it all was to getting your legs and figuring out how to use it in ways that where you were able to benefit from the experience that you got and, you know, do things like grow your career.
Oh, that's interesting.
That's amazing.
That's yeah.
And that's what you should have, right?
You should have a separate account for your, for your art stuff.
It makes things easier, but it takes a while to get all that stuff set up.
That's yeah.
I love hearing that.
Cause it sounds like just having a, getting that extra money is,
was really just kind of a revelation to like, oh, you know, even if I'm not this kind of artist, this actually helps me have a more sustainable career.
And I think one of the things that we can forget when you have money, it gives you freedom.
It allows you to do things on a larger scale.
It allows you to build your practice.
And I think that in a lot of the narratives within the art world where,
You know, we tell ourselves like, well, we we don't make money or we're not a commercial artist or, you know, this this is in a field where you should ever expect to make a living wage.
One of the things that it does is it sort of keeps us in our place.
And, you know, when you start to experience what it's like to get paid for your work, that's when you can actually start moving from the place where you're treading water into, you know, I don't know where one goes from treading water, but like higher land or I don't know, you can build from there.
That is really great to hear.
