But at the same time, the decision is always on their shoulders.
So this comes up quite a bit.
They also worry about, you know, when the kids grow up, the question that their own kids would get.
So, like, the woman from Nashville that I met, Laura Terry, that was her name, she talked about how she has a four-year-old daughter, and when she'd been rehearsing with her daughter, if someone asks you,
Who's your father?
You tell them that we are a family of a mother and two children.
But however, when she got the question that was in front of her, her daughter froze.
And that just made her heart stop because she knew that this was just the beginning of something that her kid would have to face.
But hopefully with time, she will be able to answer that question better with more practice.
But it is something that they worry about.
I mean, the other thing that they also worry about is they are the only parent.
Something could happen to them.
I think a lot of them do a lot of planning on that front.
I mean, almost every mom that I talk to, they're the most amazing planners that I have ever encountered in my life.
I think the one thing that I hear from every single mother is that you have to be part of a community.
And the community is not just going to come by itself.
You have to invest in creating that community around you.
