She runs with her kid in her stroller because she wants to save on child care.
And she's like, while I'm running, you know, from 5Ks, 10Ks.
And she says, you know, this little child is either sleeping or watching this whole wide world while I, you know, pack in my runs.
And she says it's not going to just happen.
You have to invest in them.
She moved to a new town.
She got a new job.
And she says that, you know, if I am expecting someone to take care of my child in certain situations where I have to go see a doctor or whatever, I need to make sure that I am available to take care of their child, too.
There is a give and take in these relationships.
That is there in every relationship, but...
They're very conscious of it.
They're very, very conscious of it.
She leans on the people in her running club.
So like if she's participating in a race, there are people who are in the club who might not be doing a half marathon, let's say, and they will hold on to this child and, you know, cheer on mom.
But they cultivate that community.
I think that's really important.
A lot of them rely on parents.
A lot of them rely on parents to help them.
