I still want him to believe that it could have been worse.
And maybe God stopped you.

I don't know.

I'm praying that it doesn't.
I don't think so, from what I've heard in the last week.
I think him being not knocked out is a sign that God exists right there.
A sign that God exists, and there was doctors right there, and my husband was right there, and we were all with him, and it could have been worse, and he laughed it off and could still talk.
That's why, as a parent, I didn't freak out.
His brain was still intact.
Right.
Jake's never been punched like that.
So until this moment, or until that moment, I should say.
Yeah, it's still nerve wracking because he could get punched.
You know, like, I ruined my body in gymnastics.
I don't regret it.
