So this is a guy with 50 home run potential.
He can hit...
Ideally, you know, 270s, 280s, knock in well over 100, 110, and his OPS is going to kick around 900.
So he's young.
His defense isn't necessarily phenomenal, but I think just the raw numbers, average OPS, home runs in RBI, I think it's going to be good enough where he has consideration.
So NL MVP, I'm going with...
Fernando Tatis.
Fernando's been, I mean, as good of a player in baseball as you can possibly imagine.
Last year, age 26 year, roughly a six war, 25 home runs, 32 steals.
He only hit 270, 814 OPS.
Going into his age 27 season, this is kind of the age where guys start to take a little bit of a jump to the primes of their career.
He's a two-time platinum glove.
It's going to boost the war.
I think he's a guy who has 35-35 home run potential.
San Diego should be good enough where they're a playoff team, which helps his case.
But just track record alone, considering his age, the player,
the scenario.
I think it's a guy who is absolutely going to be in MVP conversations this year if he's healthy.
The ceiling with Tatis is as high as anybody in baseball, I feel, because the defense plays incredibly well.
He did have the PED suspension, so I'm not going to put too much stock in it, but it is a guy who has hit 40 plus home runs before.
