I actually think it's a pretty critical component for a durable competitive position.
If you even start with the first piece of this on really understanding the mission, understanding how are we improving access, how are we improving affordability, how are we improving quality, and really having a deep understanding that if we're not balancing those three,
we're going to find ourselves in a tough spot at some point, and often sooner rather than later.
It's a tough environment to operate in, but we've got to be delivering on all three of those all the time.
And I think we all see in our organizations where we've got silos where they're only thinking about affordability, or they're only thinking about quality, or they're only thinking about access.
How are we all kind of thinking about all of those?
Because look, in a complex, regulated industry, the needs of patients are so diverse.
We have to have everyone in the organization thinking about that triple aim so that we continue to be relevant and we continue to deliver.
I am quite excited about the promise that this has to really bring personalized information to the point of care.
And particularly if we think about the point of care as a broad description, including the provider, whoever the insurer is, whether that be the government or a private entity, right?
But really bringing personalized information that enables better decisions and hopefully better, more effective care pathways, but also reduces a bunch of the friction that we see in the system today, right?
I think AI has...
huge potential to do that.
And of course, we're going to have to be quite thoughtful as an industry about how we put that in place, what the role of those tools are versus the caregivers and patients who ultimately make decisions.
I would like, if we look out over the 10, 20-year horizon, if we are able to move to a point where navigating our health care system and navigating in that holistic way that I talked about, right?
The physical health, mental health, all the kind of surrounding social determinants of health, healthy living, et cetera.
If we are able to navigate that in a much more seamless way, enabled by kind of the digital front door, if you will, but also backed up by many of the AI kind of analytics that we talked about to, I mean, frankly, enable better decisions for all of us in the way that we pursue health in our lives, you know, and frankly, make it more affordable.
Well, thank you for having me.
