And that's the kind of feeding the ego thing.

But yeah, I mean, I would be, I didn't sleep.

So I would basically just spend my whole time trying to find money different ways, wangle my way out of problems, emails, messages, etc.

And of course over time people started to see through it because they might accept that one month you can't pay them back but then the next month what's going on and...

I was very clever at paying different people at different times.

So it looked like things were okay again.

And it just started to just get completely out of control.

And it just wasn't sustainable.

And I knew I was going to get found out at some point.

I just didn't know when it was going to happen.

Is that when it all came to a head at Cheltenham in 2018?

Yeah, so by March 2018, things were obviously totally out of control and I'd started to sort of drop the ball in more ways than one and it started to really impact me professionally because I wasn't sleeping, my mental health was all over the place, I didn't have any money and I started this kind of

high functioning, highly professional individual.

People started to see through it and cracks started to appear.

I started to make mistakes, do things I shouldn't have done, lie to people, get found out.

And so essentially, for a combination of different reasons, my employers became aware.

because they'd received complaints from pupils that I taught, from parents, of course, from colleagues.

And I got called in for a meeting and I knew at that point I'd been found out.

And I thought at that point, I'm pretty certain it would have happened anyway, but I thought I was going to lose my job.

I knew I was going to lose my house because my house came with the job.
