I'm speaking on behalf of myself.
So, Patrick, I see an observation.
I think it's the compete and the 50-50 battles.
The willingness of like, listen, I know it's not going my way, but how can I change that?
It all comes down to just winning puck battles and winning wall battles in the D zone, competing.
We all want to score goals, and unfortunately...
Some of us can't all the time, and the high-level players, when it's not going their way, this is sometimes just simplifying it, just going back to just competing and working hard.
as much as we all love to do it, but I think for these guys that are elite players, it's just, you know, instead of trying to turn something into something and making high-risk plays and maybe just simplifying it, that play more direct into your game so you can actually show people that you care, that you're trying to work hard, you're trying to work things out of it.
So that's how I kind of understand and how I would do it.
But listen, I was never in probably the elite's
For me, if it wasn't going my way, I would try to find something to kind of stir the pot, get our bench's attention a little bit.
Start a scrum, maybe get in a fight, do something that's probably going to get me more engaged into the game.
I mean, did you guys watch?
That game was electric.
I'm sure both coaches are saying, like, we got to keep the puck out of the net.
But listen, I don't know if you guys saw Darlene's interview after the game.
I mean, he's like, I love this.
Like, we haven't been in this position in a long time.
And for the fans of City of Buffalo, like,
Listen, they added some deaf players and some great heaviness to their back line, too.
