The first person on this is Hannah Cole of Sunlight Tax.
In episode 73 of the Art Problems podcast,
Accountant Hannah Cole told us about the effects of Hurricane Helene on the artist community in Asheville, which is where she lives.
Since that time, she's been donating as much money as she can from the proceeds of her program, Money Bootcamp, which is specifically designed to support artists.
And she's using that money to further support artists affected by the hurricane.
And she's helping artists
apply for funding relief.
She's amazing and she deserves a first spot on this list.
Number two, curator John Massier of Hall Walls in Buffalo.
He spoke to the Netflix membership in May or April, I think, and he spoke about how he worked with artists
who had approached him for shows.
And when he felt the venue wasn't appropriate, he would try to place them out elsewhere.
When he thought the venue was appropriate, he'd work with them to consider the space.
