Depending upon how he pitches, what the health is, I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility with that 40-man decision kind of looming in the offseason.

We see a lot of those guys added to the roster in September.

It could be just a September call-up as sort of a reward, or it could be this is the best arm that we have available, and we're going to call this guy up.

I think that there's other options, obviously, like in Buffalo at this point.

Jake Bloss is on his way back and has looked good in terms of the stuff.

It will be interesting to see to see, you know, when Bloss eventually gets up to the big leagues again, a guy that, you know, you'd obviously acquired in the Kikuchi trade a few years back from the Astros and, you know, could kind of be an X factor here because the stuff is really good.

He's been throwing strikes and, you know, his rehab outings, et cetera.

So I think that's something to buy into as a potential guy that could be up and have some impact on the team.

I mean, it's, it's unfortunate.

And I think we've kind of seen this historically over the years, maybe a guy like Hunter Harvey or Dylan Bundy is kind of good names to, to point to just in terms of guys that, that initial, you know, touch point, the initial ascent into pro ball was so phenomenal.

I mean, he was, it was, I can remember seeing him and Kyle Harrison who didn't have a great game last night, but up until that point had been phenomenal and,

And sitting there and watching them go toe-to-toe in New Hampshire, this is his first season to 2022, and thinking that Tiedemann was the superior pitching prospect, had the better stuff, was probably the guy that was going to be up in the big leagues, and getting outs more consistently because he had that three-pitch mix, because of the power, because of the deception of that arm angle, and his ability to kind of work both sides of the plate.

he's never really been that since um the power came back at a point in 23 when i was down in florida and he was in a rehab start it was maybe one of the most phenomenal performances i've seen he had like 17 swinging strikes over like four innings or something like that was up to 98. um

We've never really seen that since and we haven't seen the consistency, particularly once he got back up to double A and then eventually to triple A. It's been a really rocky path with him coming back from this injury because I think we can point to the beginning of that 2023 season came out the shoot like gangbusters was one of the best pitchers in professional baseball over that first month.
