And then eventually if you want to can kind of stretch those guys out.
So I think you look at a couple of these names and of course, you know, you mentioned the high school pitchers.
We got to talk about Johnny King.
Um,
It's about as good of a fastball-breaking ball combo from a young left-hander as there is in the lower minors at this point.
I think some scouts kind of hand-ring and say, we need a third pitch here.
We need more refinement and more command.
But I also think you look at how nasty he is, how good the stuff is already, and how many pitchers succeed with two-plus pitches in the big leagues.
It's one thing to have an average fastball and a plus breaking ball and live off of two pitches.
It's a whole other thing to have a couple of 60s that you can go to.
And then it's like, all right, we got to refine that third or fourth shape.
I think King will get there.
I think this is another guy that's just on the cusp of the top 100, probably jumps on.
And I think if you take a look back two, three years ago to where the Blue Jays are at now in terms of,
I mean, we saw last year, I mean, he's not Trey Savage, but we did see Trey Savage move up to the major leagues, you know, jump all four levels.
And then eventually, you know, pitch huge innings, historic type of performances in the playoffs and in the World Series.
So, you know, do I think that's necessarily what Perry's going to do?
I mean, that'd be crazy for me to predict that.
I do think he's going to β if he continues to pitch like this, I can't imagine he's in high A for much longer.
He'll be up in double A, and then eventually I do think he probably sees Buffalo by the end of the season.
