And sometimes you hardly hear them until you've heard the song 20 times.
And you go, what is that little noise?
But I think that's the fun, that's the fascination of it.
We made this sound and had fun making it.
That's all I want in life.
Ah, I know your village.
I remember shooting this so clearly because it was the most surreal thing.
And what was surreal about it was it just kept getting more and more odd and incredible.
Obviously, filming this with Paul McCartney as we're dancing around him in satin shirts and clapping.
But we had to kind of that that whole section took a while.
And I just remember
Paul telling us all these great stories about John and the Beatles and filming Hard Day's Night.
And it was absolutely amazing.
And then not that later in the day, going in to listen to him record Berlin in a sound booth.
kiev i remember you were sitting behind a like kind of a mixing board and and giving him direction on how to sing the berlin song and while he was doing it you look back at me and we both kind of wordlessly acknowledged how uh freaking bonkers that was and um yeah it was it was an amazing amazing experience
And that didn't happen in a parallel universe.
That actually happened in real life.
I do remember right when I met McCartney that he was just like, don't be afraid.
Like, I want direction.
I want you to tell me exactly what to do.
