And oftentimes, I think a lot about the Oklahoma City Thunder and people here are
probably like, you know, driven nuts by how much I talk about them.

Sam, I think, has done an unbelievable job where if you go back and look at their press conferences, like in 2020, in 2021, this is before they got like really, really good, right?
They're talking about all these values and they're living them out and they're really emphasizing them.
And then, you know, I think that foundation is in place.
And then they,
strategically make some great decisions in the front office.
They're staffed out with a bunch of great coaches and eventually great players.
And now they're just a complete monster.
And I don't think they're showing any signs of slowing down.
Yeah, I mean, your line about patience is right on the money.
And I would say that, like, you know, scaled across the whole organization, our whole strategy, right?
Like, you know, if you look around the best, look around the league, the best organizations in baseball, in my opinion, have done a really good job with patience and playing the long game in many ways, right?

Listen, I think we're constantly going to be tempted to, I say, put in the windows and the doors before the foundation is strong, right?
If you do that, you're going to look up a year or two down the line and say, gosh, why did we do that?
It was this short-sighted move that set us back a year, two years, three years.
In all facets of the organization, we want to be pointing towards setting a really strong foundation.
Then when the time is right, let's put in the windows and the doors and really make this a special place.
