Hold on, let me write that down.
Yeah, homers are great.
Yeah, homers are great.
That might be a T-shirt, actually.
good point um you know we finished middle of the pack with in in homers and yeah i obviously i think for a good portion of the year you know like we were still within the top 10 and i did we didn't i mean the last month month and a half we did not hit a bunch of homers and i think obviously you saw the some of the run production as a result i think homers give you again it's the immediate opportunity to put runs on the board which is which is always always very important um
I think, again, making sure that we stay true to the offense that we are and not trying to settle out to be something that we aren't, I think is also very important.
And we knew, I feel like our best opportunity was to always put ourselves in a position to score as many runs as possible.
And that's getting on base so that when you do hit a home or a double, it's two, three runs.
But I think there's guys going to take steps forward next year and that total will grow for sure.
I think the reality is,
you know, like the goal is to create a system, an offensive system, right?
There's a minor league component to that.
We're trying to develop and extract as much as we can from a player perspective to, to make them capable big leaguers, whether it's for our organization or somebody else, right?
That's how you drive player value.
I think at the big league level,
I use the word extraction a lot.
Right.
Like it's about taking what you have because everybody is there.
You're trying to further develop them.
Right.
