It just can't be the case when you're using a top six pick who you forfeited all of this.
That has to be a pro day one ready player.
And I tend to think that that's going to be the case.

I think you've got to feel at the end of the year that that juice in the trenches was back as far as being able to push into offensive linemen and push the pocket.
And when you're not having one of these โ
linebacker or cornerback, which is with four linemen, you're able to get to the quarterback.
You know, I don't want to see the Chiefs, now that they've reestablished their defensive line, giving up too many big runs.
You know, I really feel like they made picks to shore it up.
And then, you know, sending it to Thomas, like I love that quick pass rush juice.
On the side, you know, I think these players were taken sort of as a tandem.
You know, last year, they got Omar Norman-Lodd and Ashton Zalati.
And this year, they continue to add to it, you know, kind of in a two-year project with Woods and R. Mason Thomas.
And, you know, by now, you know, because the defensive line works in tandem, like by now, you shouldn't be having those conversations the day after where we're continuing to say to each other, like, what is,
this defensive line have to do to get to the quarterback?
What does this defensive line have to do to have an impact on the game?
And in theory, you know, as you infuse this young talent, it should make things easier on Chris Jones where you can play him a little bit less and, you know, we're already waiting the final days, seasons of his career.
It'd be hard for me to think that the Chiefs feel comfortable about that number next year.
I mean, you know, it feels like they can get out.
