And I, not so much the fifth rounder, but I felt like when you were watching that third round over the weekend, I mean, you really felt like, oh man, it would be good for the Chiefs to have one of these players right here.
And you sacrificed that.
And so, you know, to me, I think it's feeling like you have a no-brainer starter, you know, with that all-pro upside.
within the 15, 20 top cornerbacks in the league eventually.
I mean, I think to the caliber where, you know, you look two, three years from now,
And, you know, you say to yourself, well, you know, the Chiefs still lose to McDuffie, but they got the win.
And so they really don't fall off at all, you know.
And it has to be that type of conversation that, man, the Chiefs really made a mistake by letting McDuffie win.
or trading McDuffie, I should say, and then thinking that Delano was going to be, you know, an equivalent replacement.
It never really worked out.
I mean, that'll be the conversation that you have to have.
It's, you know, by making this move and, you know, all the rookies, when you have rookies as opposed to veteran players are cheaper, you know, cost-saving move that really worked out because they got the right guy.
And Steve Spagnuolo historically has been a little bit hesitant to play rookies right away.
