And I don't blame you for feeling one way or another about it.
I'm just talking about the realities of what this league is.
And you've heard me say this before.
When it really feels like the Chiefs are ticking and the offense โ
Pass and run is playing well.
You look down in the third or fourth quarter, and they have at least 12 to 16 rushes.
And part of the problem with running an RPO first offense, which she's had for so many years, is a lot of times Mahomes wants to throw the football, and he feels like he sees an opening, and he pulls.
And so I got to imagine when you go and sign Ken Walker, who makes his money by running on our center, that they want to introduce some of those elements back into the offense.
And so I think those plays are there.
What you have seen Andy Redoux and probably to, you know, an exhaustion, which ended up that 6-11 year last year,
is keep some of those looks out of that week's game plan.
And so I think you see a lot more of them dialed up this year.
And I think from an offensive line blocking standpoint,
One of the problems with RPO is you don't necessarily know if you're blocking for run or pass.
You're more intentional with that.
It should create some of those holes in the run game for one of the premier running backs in the NFL.
I like Isaiah Pacheco a lot.
I like Kareem Hunt, especially in short yardage in the second stint.
But now you finally have a true threat.
