It's not.
And that happened to me for two weeks, driving around Spain.
And that's just because that's the way our brain works.
So my view on it is that we live in a bipedal world.
And if we want a generalist robot, it'll need to be bipedal and be able to do the sorts of things that we do.
But a lot of the tasks that we do,
would want a robot to do don't need to be a bipedal six foot tall handsy type thing so i think what we're going to get is a divergence in the kinds of robots that are out there that are physically built for their own niches of what it is they need to do and how the ui is for that
be where the fun is do you have a bipedal robot that wanders around and is the ui for all of these various other bits and pieces or is it holographic or how do you make all of that work or is it already there and it's called siri
But I don't see us being in a world populated with bipedal robots wandering around carrying guns or anything along those lines.
I see us walking down the street with a whole bunch of little mice-type robots going off and cleaning the road or that kind of thing, rather than making them all in our own image.
Because generally speaking, the human body is pretty bad.
It's pretty rubbish for most things, except it carries around a pretty good brain.
And it makes good tools.
But the rest of it, we're average.
We don't run that fast.
We don't jump high that fast.
We don't have that much strength.
We can't do all sorts of bits and pieces.
It's a really bad model to follow.
But we'll start in the medical field.
