But they're back in action in the Premier League on Wednesday against Arsenal.
And, you know, although perhaps the league is no longer the priority for them, they will need to get off to a good start and feel like they can build some momentum before they get back involved in these cup competitions, I guess.
Yeah, interesting storylines ahead for both Manchester clubs.
James, they'll keep you busy, I'm sure, so we'll leave it there.
But thank you very much for joining us this morning.
Cheers, no problem.
Now, Ollie, James mentioned Rashford and Pogba there, two key players for Manchester United who were injured before the lockdown but have been able to use this time to get back fit.
United aren't the only team to have key players back from injury, though, for this restart.
yeah and I read some rumours online somewhere that Jack Wilshere might even make a return for West Ham I know Yarmolenko and Suchek and Fredericks are more likely to be starting for them but out of nowhere Jack Wilshere back for West Ham that would be interesting another former Arsenal player as well Danny Welbeck the break could have done him good at Watford

We don't want to see teams missing key players or missing important players and having to find ways to win matches without those key men.
But Nick, there's a lot at stake, as we've discussed in this podcast, but we've also talked about a lot of variables, haven't we?
About home advantage perhaps not being what it was before the lockdown.
We talked about the potential for injuries, fit again players coming back into the starting 11s.
And all of this makes it quite hard to predict how things will play out, doesn't it?
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, a lot at stake for these players, isn't there, with players who are out of contract or players who have extended their contract for a short period to play these games.
And the transfer window and how that plays out is a whole other question, isn't it?
We'll get into that another time.
